For those with big dreams and a firm belief that they can succeed but who have never started or haven’t done it consistently enough to be successful, Cameron Hanes’ book Endure is a great resource.

If you find the challenge listed above relatable, then here is an exercise to take you out of it and get you going.
First, ask yourself,
What is your passion?
What keeps you away from it?
What’s motivating you to follow it?
Give it a good thought and write them down. Decide to do something every day for a year.
Now let’s look at the end goal. “Begin with the end in mind” is the second of the seven habits of highly effective people that Dr. Stephen R. Covey defines in his bestselling book. The habit is based on the principle that all things are created twice: once in your mind and once in the physical world. So now, Let’s answer the below set of questions.
What does success look like to you?
What would happen if you stopped imagining it and started expecting it?
Write them down and keep them visible to you. So that you can see them every day, every time.
One more important step, Write down: How would you keep going through loss, failure, or doubt? This is important because it is bound to happen. Remember, many start well, many take it quite far, but most drop the ball when they face failure, loss, or criticism.
Now for the crux of the activity. Keep pushing yourself every single day. It should be hard to follow; it should make you feel like giving up. It should be painstaking and spine-chilling. Only then do you know you are pressing yourself enough.
